What i did in the holidays

On the holidays I went to my grandmas house to stay we walk up the road to ride our bikes and scooters last week she took us to the theatre royal to watch snow white the musical it was awesome I love my nana!!!

ONCE there lived a girl with a horse called horsey and the girl was called Olivia
one day the girl was walking horsey through the forest .then suddenly out of the blur
came a butterfly. horsey chased the butterfly Olivia pulls on the rains but horsey didn't stop.


Horsey gets lost and even worst Olivia couldn't find him



2 years later Olivia was catching fish.
Then out of the gloom Olivia herd a "Neigh".It was horsey!


Olivia ran to get him.

From that day on they NEVER EVER went into the forest again.

Then they lived happily ever after.

Sun Poem

It shines like crystals it makes the stars . glitter in the moon light sky.and in the morning it shines above the clouds and it brings a colour and warmth to the day the sun makes me smile and warms me up inside the birds sing like a whole orchestra in the sky.

Wednesday 21st September - Soccer....................BY...............PIP!

The seasons gone so fast and it's sad because it is ending.

We had two BBQs and that was fun. We were celebrating the end of the soccer season. It feels funny to not go to Wednesday practice.

I loved the season, it went so well. We all did well and I was blown away with everyone's skill. I loved Natalie's footwork; she worked so hard. So did the rest of the team. I love the way everyone has improved over the season, we all did well.

I'm not going to be writing about soccer anymore so don't be saying "Where is soccer by Pip" because I won't be doing them. It's been lovely - "I hope you liked them" she said.

Monday 19th September - SOCCER BY...........................PIPPY!!!!!!!

We had another BBQ on Wednesday it was great. We had a sausage a drink (Two drinks actually!) A ice cream!





It was fantastico!




We got a cup for the team & a certificate and a big poster of the white ferns!




Natalie was there and we played on the play ground until I went home. I don't know when Natalie went home.



We played and played and we all had fun!



My little speech thingy:

"it is sad and disappointing that soccer is ending.
We have had a good term.
Winning, loosing and drawing. We all love soccer!

I hope I do it next year. Soccer is one of my favourite sports.
It is so fun and you can play it at home with your friends, all you need is a ball.

At club penguin 3 friends are talking about Rock Hopper the pirate. One of them was wearing a striped t-shirt and belt. He was planning to stow away on board. While his friends were keeping Rock Hopper busy he sneaked on the pirate ship and hid in.........read the book to find out.

In this book you get to choose your own parts out of it to make your own story . In my story, the penguin heard a voice say “What do we have here” and woke up to see Yarr, Rock Hoppers puffle and Rock Hopper in front of him. I joined the crew and we saw a sea monster. The cap’n asked me to “go find me some fruit”. However, I got stones instead of fruit, you will have to read the story to find out why. At the end of my story Rock Hopper said “I know an island where I could trade these stones for bananas. Good job mate.” So I guess he will get his fruit after all. But if you read the book, your story will probably be different .

I liked this book because I got to choose what I wanted and when something does go wrong for me I go back and change it. It was cool reading this book because I have a Puffle and its pink so I like reading about Puffles.

This book would suit girls and boys of years 3 and up

Friday 9th September.- Soccer By Pip

"We are going to have a BBQ on Saturday after Soccer. The team are doing it because it is our last game and we are going to celebrate. Every one is going to go to claudia's house to do it. hopefully every one will be there.



We have had a better year than last year.




I am looking forward to the last game. but it is very sad.








I love soccer it is my favorite sport!y

Thursday 8th of September- Soccer By Pip

We did practice yesterday.




Natalie wasn't there but I bet she will be there on Saturday.

I hope every one will be there on Saturday because it is the last game!

We were focusing on dribbling the ball. Dribbling the ball means kicking the ball softly so that it doesn't go so far in front of you.

We did a drill that you dribble the ball to the other side of the field and back again. Then we did a similar drill, you dribble to the other side of the field then when the coach (my Dad) said "Stop!" you left your ball and went to the other side. Then when you came back you got the ball and dribbled it to the other side.

7th of September - Soccer By Pip

We, the Leopards won 1 game on Saturday.
It was Poppy's birthday so we sang happy birthday to her.

Poppy was in Canada when we did the photo so took a picture then cut it out. then Andy, who was doing it. he pasted it in. i have got the picture to show you of how it turned out.

Wednesday 31st August Soccer By Pip

We did a practice today.

My Dad who is the coach said that I did great shielding I think that I did to.

I'v got 7 players in my team. Billy, ( I think thats how you spell it.) Poppy, Harriet, Claudia, Meg, Me and Natalie. In the picture they are all there but Poppy, who missed out, is not.


Next year I want an all girls team!

Monday 29th August

We won last saturday and lost the other two.I think that Billy is useful now.
He use to hurt you.
I was sick but I played well.
I did so well that I got the player of the day! ( most improved.)

Daffodil Day

The children are drawing pictures of Daffodils and writing what the day means to them. We found out that the Daffodil is one of the first flowers in spring and it is a symbol of hope for those and their families dealing with cancer.

Here are some pictures from the show we saw on Tuesday. We didn't get many as two sets of batteries ran out! Parklands had a great performance about music through the times.

Book Review

Zac Power !
Spy Camp Zac Runs Wild

Zac is a 12 year old boy who works for a spy group called GIB. His code name is agent “Rock Star”. Zac’s partner is called agent “Fang”. Her real name is Anna. He also has a brother called Leon and he is a spy too. In every mission Zac always has a special gadget.

This book is about Zac’s training at spy camp. He learns to use different gadgets like the shooting star which helps him swing out of danger and the animal tracker. If you touch the animal on the animal tracker it feels real. I really liked the bit where they swung across the creek with their star belt to get away from the mother lion . Zac & agent Fang also get to ride in a super speedy machinery snake . The snakes mouth is the door.

I like the Zac Power books because they don’t have real coloured pictures. The pictures are just shadows and so you don’t really know what they look like. You have to imagine what they really look like. I really like the book cover cause Zac’s shadow makes the A in the word Zac. Sometimes there are bully’s in the books and I don’t like them.

This book is an easy chapter book and I think it would be good for 6-9 year olds. Boys would like this book and also girls who like adventure or mission stories.

Soccar By Pip

We won 1 game! (I Scored both goals!) It was 2 nil. We lost then we lost again

Last Wednesday we had Goarge. Goarge is a Soccar coach.

He is English but has a funny acxsent.


All the other teams were there.


The 8Th grade was there & the 9Th grade was there.


But the midgets wasn't there.

I was half way through the book with the class, and I got my own book of it! I started where we were. I liked the ending of it because I won't tel ou 'cos' you can read it yourself. Roald Dahl is a very cool writer. I like Roald Dahl books hes got Danny the Champion of the world, The chocolate factory, "the twits", Charlie and the great glass elevator, The Giant Peach, The Witches, The BFG, Fantastic Mr Fox, georges marvellous medicine. I rate that 10 out of 10. It was quite good.

Billie.b.brown and the little lie

It's got big letters. Its sort of new beginners on chapter books. Its a series of Billie B Brown. Just look for it. They have 43 pages. I liked the books but they had tiny chapters in the. They were 12 pages long!
She tells a lie and everyone does want to be her friend but then Lola says 'you're fibbing' by Sally Rippen.

I think it was a good book , because it was funny. Billie didn't want to be a big sister first. But then she did! They had big words. thought it was it was a bit short the story.I think it would be good for people under 6. But i still like it. by Pip

Once there was a hummingbird who one day slammed into a window.
Then the next day a woodpecker took it`s turn and slammed into a window.
Then the next day a kereru slammed into a window and took it`s turn too.
The next day a piwakawaka took it`s turn and slammed into a window.
And last but not least a kotoku took it`s turn and slammed into a window
And that’s how the middles and seniors and juniors got there names and
The woodpecker and hummingbird just became constellations because they flew up to heaven and turned into stars.
But Ella`s house got lot`s of hole`s in the window`s!!!

Hi Friends,

Here are the pictures from my solar system model we made, first we painted the planets, we used lots of colours and glitter to get them looking accurate. After that I measured and attached the planets around the Sun and the solar system is complete.....

there onced lived a wild mustang.She goes for walks every day. she was being naughty by leaving droppings on the road.A man saw the wild mustang and got really really angry. The guy shot the horse five times. At last the head came off. The man used his powers to put the head into the night sky. The man had to clean up all the droppings. Just then he heard something in the distance. It was a car. It rolled over the droppings "oh no, more mess for me to clean up". Just then a wild mustang came trotting down the road.

Factors and Primes

In Maths i have been doing Factors and Primes.A Factor for example is this - Say i had number 10 10s factors would be any numbers that = 10 in times for example 2,5,1,10 two is 10s factor because 2x5=10 5x2=10 1x10=10 and 10x1=10
A Prime is -
To know what a Prime is you need to know what a Factor is. A Prime is any number that has two Factors for example 2 is a Prime because its two Factors are 2 and 1.
